800HP 6 ROTOR NATURALLY ASPIRATED
Since I've known about rotory engines and the power potential they have and that you can add additional rotors to increase power, I've always said that if Mazda rotor builders wanted to run in the 4 to 5sec 1/4 mile numbers with the v8's in Top Fuel Dragsters, they could do it. The guys at PPRE built this 6 rotor engine to run not at the drag strip but to run laps at the race track. Their work has displayed that rotor engine can lay down some impressive all motor number, 800hp all motor actually. While at the drag strip team Major league Rx-8 made a record running 6.27 sec @ 218 mph with 3 rotors less and a turbocharger. So I'm only lead to believe that a 6 rotor with a turbocharged system strapped to it can run just as hard as the big block v8 drag cars. Whats your opinion ??? Could i be on to something or insane ???
